Dr Gerald Hoy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and attended the University of Manitoba, graduating from the Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He began his career practicing Family and General Medicine, but now specializes in Addiction Medicine. 

Dr Michael Zhanel is a certified addictions specialist and general practitioner. He completed his medical school and residency training at the University of Manitoba. He pursued additional training in addictions medicine throughout his residency, and has been certified by the International Society of Addictions Medicine (ISAM) as an addictions specialist. 

Our physicians provide confidential and compassionate care for people struggling with substance use including Opiate and Alcohol Use Disorder. They provides addictions focused care and manage co-existing mental and physical health issues related to substance use.
